This Service Option:
A volume set is a more advanced technique where a fan of multiple extensions is applied to each natural lash. These extensions are also thinner in order to ensure that the fans are lightweight and won’t strain your natural lashes. Depending on your lash technician and the look you’re aiming for, this could mean anywhere between 2 to 15 extensions per natural lash (usually expressed as 2D-15D). Generally, 2D-6D is the most common range for volume sets. Anything higher than 6D is sometimes referred to as Mega Volume or Russian Volume.
Compared to the classic set, a volume set provides a more dramatic, fuller, and fluffier look. Volume sets are perfect for individuals who enjoy wearing full-coverage make-up frequently. Some clients who have naturally sparse lashes may also choose a volume set to help increase the fullness of their lashes. In these cases, the fullness of the set may be limited depending on what your natural lashes can support.
Performing volume sets require a considerable amount of skill and it’s important for you to find an experienced lash artist for this. Some lash technicians may use pre-made/pro-made fans to make the process easier and faster. Generally, if the pre-made fans are handmade by a skilled technician, they are safe to use. However, some store bought pre-made fans can be bulky and heavy which might strain the natural lash.
WHAT IS THE LASH LIFT?
The Lash Lift is a semi-permanent treatment that gives your natural lashes an illusion of perfectly curled lashes with added definition. It is a great alternative to eyelash extensions, as it requires very little maintenance and has long lasting results. The formula is conditioning, nourishing, paraben and formaldehyde free.
WHO WOULD BE A GREAT CANDIDATE FOR THE LASH LIFT?
The Lash Lift is for clients that are pleased with the length of their natural lashes but want a semi-permanent curled, enhanced mascara look. It is not recommended for chemotherapy clients.
HOW LONG DOES THE LASH LIFT PROCEDURE TAKE?
The procedure takes approximately 45-60 minutes.
WILL IT DAMAGE MY NATURAL LASHES?
No, a certified and trained Beautylife Lash Lift specialist will perform the procedure with proper care and technique.
WHAT IS THE MAINTENANCE WITH THE LASH LIFT?
This procedure requires very little maintenance and is perfect for anyone that doesn’t have time for regular upkeep. The Lash Lift will last 6-8 weeks, depending on your lash cycle. Please note that lash serums, biotin, and/or medication(s) can affect the lash cycle, resulting in quicker lash shedding.
WHAT SHOULD I AVOID AFTER MY LASH LIFT?
Avoid getting your lashes wet for the first 24 hours. Avoid steam rooms and saunas; overall, refrain from all heat. After 24 hours, you may go about with your daily routine. The Lash Lift has no restrictions or maintenance like eyelash extensions.
CAN MASCARA BE APPLIED AFTER THE PROCEDURE?
Allow 24 hours before applying any type of product to your lashes. After 24 hours, you may apply mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, or any type of makeup products you desire; it will not affect the lashes.
WHAT IS THE LASH TINT?
The Lash Tint gives your lashes a long-lasting mascara effect without the hassle of smudging, running, or clumping lashes.
Oils can degrade the bond created by eyelash adhesives over time. So, when you’re showering, always take care to use oil-free soap solutions around the eyes.
Also, avoid creamy soaps as they can interfere with the adhesion capacity of the cyanoacrylate-based lash glue. It’s better to avoid body washes and soaps around your eyes to be on the safe side.
You can also invest in a water-based face washing solution to maximize the retentiveness of lash extensions.
Gel manicures use high levels of UV radiation to set a special gel into an individual’s nails. Although there is little evidence that this can cause serious conditions such as skin cancer, some research suggests that pain and nail damage are common side effects of gel manicures.
Manicures are cosmetic procedures to alter the appearance of a person’s nails.
This article examines what gel manicures are and discusses health and safety considerations. It also summarizes existing research comparing gel manicures and traditional acrylic nails.
$40 Dip Powder
Nail dipping powder is the middle ground between gel nail polish and acrylics. Dip nails last longer than gel polish and are easier to apply than tricky acrylic nails and don’t need any special tools. If you’re looking for extensions, you want nail builder gel.
